Hello! I'm Surya Susarla, a software engineer on the OS & Infra team at Databricks where I work on the OS images and release infrasture used within databricks compute platform.
Previously I've worked at AWS in AWS Transform building the backend for enterprise scale AI-assisted code migrations and transformations. I've also worked at Microsoft on the Microsoft Edge browser designing the data migration and setup aspects in close collaboration with the Chromium OSS project.
I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from NC State where I focused on Automated Software Engineering, Neural Networks and Cloud Computing.
Outside of work, I love playing strategy games, simulators and RPGs on all platforms. I also love road trips and driving.
